Vietnam Travel Notes

The Vietnam National Administration for Tourism (VNAT) has release figures showing some 860,000 foreign tourists arrived in Vietnam during the first 2 months of this year. China and Thailand had the largest year on year increase, while Sweden and Finland dropped.

Vietnam’s target is 5,000,000 tourists in 2010. The VNAT will soon begin working with and/or signing agreements with Japan, Korea, Italy, France and the USA. Tourism Ministers from Cuba and Turkey are both due to arrive in the near future as well.
