Bia Hoi or Fresh Beer is widely available through out the North of Vietnam. This image was taken at the popular “Bia Hoi Corner” set on Dinh Liet Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Anything but flash, this is a great place to hang out after a hard day exploring the city.

Dirt cheap and varying in taste, a glass of this fine Golden Liquid will set you back 3,000VND ($0.18USD). Plastic stool in gutter is optional.

Now, 18 cents? Why do I drink again……………..?
