Where:

Bunta Restaurant - 136 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1, HCMC (near the front gate of the Re-unification Palace)

Food:

Bunta is a great restaurant that has a fantastic selection of foods on the menu. The serves are slightly larger than a starter meaning it’s a great place to order big and share many!

During our visit we went for the BBQ scallops, soft shelled crab, fresh spring rolls (with pork and shrimp), chicken wings cooked with fish sauce (a personal fav!!), mixed stir fried vege’s and seafood fried rice. All of which, hit the spot.

After dinner we went for the Avocado Fruit Shakes which were icy cold and fresh.

Cost:

At BunTa the menu is priced is USD with most dishes going for 3 – 6USD a plate. Some of the seafood dishes hit double figures.

Drinks including beers, soft drinks and fruit shakes were all around the 1 – 2 USD mark.

Fav Food:

Of the food we ordered it was all really tasty. The BBQ scallops were the favorite and I’ll definitely be trying them again soon!

Out of 10:

10/10

The Good Oil:

Set in an old French Villa, BunTa has a sophisticated, yet relax feel to it. The design is very simple yet with soft lighting and nice gardens it’s a great place to eat at. Punters can either sit inside (with air-con) or outside.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly, the service quick and overall I would have to say, we’ll be heading back soon to try out some more of their dishes!
