Storm Warning for the North

Tropical storm Hagupit is heading towards the northern Vietnamese Coast and is due to hit sometime in afternoon on the 24th Sept. It is expected to drop plenty of rain around the North of Vietnam and also south towards Hue.

The storm itself should break up as it heads inland, but heavy rains are still expected. If your heading to the north of Vietnam, you keep an eye on the local news or check out weather forecasts via the internet.

According to an article today in the Vietnam News, the northwest Pacific region averages  some 25 - 30 storms a year. This year 5 have reached Vietnam.
