World Heritage site Ha Long Bay is back among the leading contenders of the Seven Wonders of Nature competition organised by the NewOpenWorld organization. The latest information released by the website www.new7wonders.com at 12pm on Tuesday shows that Ha Long Bay has jumped 13 places to stand third among 77 nominees.
The current top seven rankings are: the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park; Tubbataha Reef and the Chocolate Hills in the Philippines; Viet Nam’s Ha Long Bay; Al-hasa Oasis in Saudi Arabia; Cox’s Bazzar Beach in Bangladesh; and the Ganges River in India.
