Tay Ninh Centre For Visually Impaired Children

In terms of cycling today was a piece of cake, less than 20km’s!

However after the first 8k’s we stopped to visit a great place called The Tay Ninh Centre For Visually Impaired Children. Founded in 2000 by CNCF, this center provides much need support, care and education to visually impaired children.

It is believed that Agent Orange has played a large part in causing eyes problems in unusually high numbers through out Tay Ninh Province. The center is really an amazing place to visit and the first thing you notice is how happy the kids are! You also notice very quickly that the center is extremely well maintained and obviously very well managed.

Ms Thuy, a staff member of CNCF, give us a very informative tour of the center and then we had a chance to hang out with the kids, watch some rap dancing and have a bit of dance together.

The CNCF Bicycle Challenge riders, raised a significant sum of money for CNCF and the Tay Ninh Center. Money that will go a long way to helping improve the lives of many children and their families.
