AUSTRALIAN tourists are among thousands of people left stranded at Bangkok’s main international airport after anti-government protests turned violent.
Eleven people were injured in demonstrations overnight (Australian time). The protesters stormed the terminal in a bid to prevent Thailand’s Prime Minister from returning to the country after he attended the APEC conference in Peru.
